Appliqued Coat by Shirley Adams

This is a beautiful coat by Shirley Adams.  She showed it at a recent workshop and I think it is so simple and elegant!  The leaves are all scraps, cut freehand and sewn down the middle.  What a striking effect!

  1. Wow. Lovely jacket. Great lines, colors. Very interesting use of applique. Love it! Does she teach how to make this in a workshop? I'd love to take a class by her. She seems very talented.

  2. She is great, unfortunately she is retiring. This was her last tour of workshops.
