A customer of mine loved this vest but didn't want to wear it. She came up with the idea to make it a wall hanging. I cut the back off and saved the fabric. I removed the buttons. I used the neck band and back fabric to fill in the neck area. Then I cut off the side bands and added some fabric squares to make it longer and then reattached the bands.
There was enough of the back fabric to make a rod pocket and binding for the edges.She was thrilled with the results! (My cat likes it too.)

Wow. It looks like it was meant to be a beautiful wallhanging...but I also liked it as a vest. But I think I like it better as a wallhanging. Great job. I'm very impressed!
